1. Introduction
Welcome to Fair Fare India (“Fair Fare”), a digital marketplace, designed, developed and delivered by Mobilint Solutions Private Limited (“Mobilint”), India.
When you use Fair Fare Services, you trust Mobilint with regards to your personal data. Mobilint remains committed to honor your trust.
This document describes the Privacy Policy, including privacy practices, as followed by Mobilint in the perspective of Fair Fare, in plain English language, keeping the legal and technical jargon to a bare minimum.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before you access or use Fair Fare Services. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not access or use Fair Fare Services.
2. Scope
This document supersedes all the prior released version(s) of Fair Fare Privacy Policy.
Supplemental policy terms may apply to certain Fair Fare Services and such supplemental policy terms will be disclosed to you in connection with the applicable Fair Fare Services. Supplemental policy terms will be deemed a part of this Privacy Policy for the purpose of the applicable Fair Fare Services. Supplemental policy terms will prevail over this Privacy Policy in the event of any conflict with regards to the applicable Fair Fare Services.
This Privacy Policy is subject to the Applicable Laws prevalent in the geographies for which Fair Fare Services have been released for use.
This Privacy Policy is specifically applicable to you if you access or use Fair Fare Services. All those who are subject to this Privacy Policy are hereinafter referred to as “Users”.
3. Fair Fare Services
Fair Fare is state-of-the-art, user-friendly digital marketplace. Fair Fare Services include Fair Fare APP, Website (individually an “Application”) and other related services. Fair Fare Services bring together Commuters, Service Partners, Business Partners and Competent Authorities on one single digital marketplace platform.
• Commuters: Individuals who request for or avail transportation
• Service Partners: Third-Party individual public taxi/autorickshaw operators, association/union of public taxi/autorickshaw operators (including their associates/members), legal business entities operating fleet of taxis/autorickshaws (including their service delivery partners), legal aggregators of taxi/autorickshaw operators (including their service delivery partners) and service providers for any other related services, relevant for Fair Fare
• Business Partners: Third-Party business entities that participate in promotional or discounts and offers programs in conjunction with Fair Fare Services
• Competent Authorities: Third-Party association/union of public taxi/rickshaw operators, legal business entities operating fleet of taxis/autorickshaws, legal aggregators of taxi/autorickshaw operators, service providers for any other related services, relevant for Fair Fare, and Regional Transport Authority (“RTA”) for the jurisdiction
4. Data Controller
Fair Fare Services are provided to you by Mobilint Solutions Private Limited, holding CIN U72900MH2020PTC343432, a Company incorporated in India under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 and having its Registered Office at 5, Uday Apartments, Agashe Path, Dadar (West), Mumbai – 400 028, Maharashtra, India.
Mobilint Solutions Private Limited is the Data Controller for the data collected in connection with the use of Fair Fare Services.
5. Data Collection
5.1. Data Provided by Users
User Profile
Mobilint collects data when Users create or update their Fair Fare User Accounts. This may include their name, mobile number, email id, gender, birth date and profession etc. It may also include their profile photo and user personalization settings.
User Content
Mobilint collects data that Users submit when they contact Fair Fare Customer Support. Mobilint also collects data when Users provide feedback or furnish ratings for Fair Fare Services. Such data may include textual messages, images, audios, videos or any other contents, as was made available to Mobilint by Users during their contacts, with regards to Fair Fare Services.
Demographic Data
Mobilint may collect demographic data about Users of Fair Fare Services. Mobilint may collect such data through user surveys and/or from third parties.
5.2. Data Created During Use of Fair Fare Services
User Location
When Users access or use Fair Fare Services, Mobilint collects data related to the User location coordinates from User’s mobile device, subject to User authorizing Fair Fare for access to the location data. It may be noted that the Users may not be able to use Fair Fare Services unless the necessary authorization is granted to Fair Fare for access to the location data.
Vehicle Details
Mobilint collects data related to the vehicle details, as may be provided by Service Partners or Users. This may include data such as, but not limited to, vehicle make, model, type and registration number. It may also include photo images of the vehicle.
Driver Details
Mobilint collects data related to the driver details, as may be provided by Service Partners or Users. This may include data such as, but not limited to, driver name, license details and badge number. It may also include photo images of the driver.
Transaction Details
Mobilint collects details of transaction between Users and Service Partners, towards the services obtained by Users from Service Partners, through their use of Fair Fare Services. Mobilint collects such transaction details as may be provided by Service Partners/Users or as may be generated by Fair Fare. This may include data such as, but not limited to, date and time of services requested/availed, Pick-Up/Drop-Off locations, planned/actual travel route (from Pick-Up to Drop-Off), estimated/actual distance travelled, estimated/actual time duration and estimated/actual fare charges.
Commuter Complaints
Mobilint collects data when Users register complaint with Service Partners and/or Competent Authorities, towards the services obtained by Users from Service Partners, through their use of Fair Fare Services. This may include data such as, but not limited to, vehicle details, driver details, transaction details, information provided by Users related to the services, driver behavior, vehicle conditions, safety matters or any other details as provided by Users. It may also include photo images of the vehicle meter readings.
Usage Details
Mobilint collects data related to usage of Fair Fare Services by Users. This may include data such as, but not limited to, usage dates/times, pages viewed, features used, browser type and data related to the Fair Fare Application crashes.
Device Details
Mobilint collects data about the devices that are used to access and use Fair Fare Services. This may include data such as, but not limited to, device make, model, serial numbers, unique device identifiers, operating systems and device motion data.
5.3. Data Collected from Other Sources
This may include data received from:
• User referrals
• Social media platforms through which Users create or access their Fair Fare User Account
• Agencies that perform individual verification/authentication, to enable Fair Fare to complete User/driver verification process for regulatory, safety, and security reasons
• Agencies that perform vehicle verification/authentication, to enable Fair Fare to complete vehicle verification process for regulatory, safety, and security reasons
• Service Partners
• Marketing agencies that conduct market research and surveys
• Government Agencies

• Sources available in public domain
6. Data Usage and Application
Mobilint does not share or sell User data with third parties for their marketing without prior User’s consent. Mobilint uses and applies the data, it collects for or generates through Fair Fare, only for the reasons mentioned below:
6.1. Provide, Maintain, Support and Improve Fair Fare Services
This may include:
• Verification/authentication of the User, vehicle and driver
• Enablement of Commuters to register complaint with Service Partners and/or Competent Authorities
• Publishing hygiene and safety measures as per the prevailing regulations or as recommended by Fair Fare
6.3. Marketing and Promotions
This may include:
• Sending marketing communications to Users about Fair Fare Services, features, promotions, discounts and offers, news and updates
• Sending personalized marketing communications, including advertisements, based on the real-time User location, history of service usage and user personalization settings
6.4. Notifications
Mobilint may use the data, it collects for or generates through Fair Fare, to apprise Users about the changes to Fair Fare Services, Policies and Terms of Use. Mobilint may also use such data to inform Users about the government notifications, including changes thereto, that may be relevant for Fair Fare Services.
7. Cookies
Fair Fare Applications may store cookies on User devices and/or browsers for the reasons such as User authentication, recapitulation of User settings/preferences and measuring effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
8. Data Sharing
Mobilint may share the data, it collects for or generates through Fair Fare, with Commuters, Service Partners, Business Partners, Competent Authorities, Regulatory Bodies and Government Agencies.
Following sections more precisely describe the aspects of such data sharing.
8.1. Between Commuters and Service Partners
This may include sharing of:
• Commuters details such as name, Pick-Up/Drop-Off locations, date/time of the requested service
• Vehicle and driver details as provided by Service Partners
• Estimates for time of service availability, distance, time duration and applicable fare charges as provided by Service Partners
• Details of service provided, in terms of actual distance, time duration and applicable fare charges as provided by Service Partners
• Hygiene and safety measures as adopted and provided by Service Partners
• Details of completion of registration activity and service usage by the referred user with the referring user, to the extent relevant for calculation of referral bonus
8.2. Between Commuters and Competent Authorities
This may include sharing of:
• Complaint details, including images, as provided by Commuters
• Complaint status and resolution details as and when provided by Competent Authorities
8.3. With Other Service Providers
Mobilint may share the data, it collects for or generates through Fair Fare, with other service providers such as:
• Agencies that perform individual verification/authentication for the purpose of User/driver verification by Fair Fare
• Agencies that perform vehicle verification/authentication for the purpose of vehicle verification by Fair Fare
• Marketing agencies, including digital marketing service providers, for the purpose of Fair Fare marketing initiatives
• Vendors for digital security that provide solutions for security of digital assets, data, websites, applications and technology
• Service providers for data/business analytics
• Professional service providers such as consultants, accountants, auditors and lawyers
8.4. With Regulatory Bodies and Government Agencies
Mobilint may share the data, it collects for or generates through Fair Fare, with Regulatory Bodies and Government Agencies upon request from them or in compliance with the Applicable Laws.
8.5. On User Approval
Mobilint may share User’s personal data, for reasons other than as mentioned in this Privacy Policy, only after sending advance notification to the User and subject to the User’s prior approval for the sharing of such personal data.
9. Data Retention
Fair Fare retains data related to User profile, personalization settings, service usage and any other data related to Fair Fare Services for the duration the User maintains Fair Fare User Account.
The User may opt for deletion of the respective Fair Fare User Account at any time through electronic mail sent to email address support@fairfareindia.com or in written communication sent by regular mail marked for “ATTN: Fair Fare India” and addressed to Mobilint’s Registered Office at 5, Uday Apartments, Agashe Path, Dadar (West), Mumbai – 400 028, Maharashtra, India. On receipt of such User request for deletion of the respective Fair Fare User Account, Fair Fare deletes all the User data, except as mandated by the Applicable Laws for the purpose of regulatory and statutory requirements or as may be deemed necessary by Mobilint, at its sole discretion, for the purpose of data/business analytics to improve upon Fair Fare Services.
10. Updates to Privacy Policy
Mobilint reserves the right to update the Privacy Policy. Mobilint will notify Users about changes to the Privacy Policy through Fair Fare Applications or any other suitable means of communication. Mobilint recommends Users to periodically review the Privacy Policy for the latest information on the same. After such notice, use of Fair Fare Services by Users will be construed as consent to the Privacy Policy in effect, including the latest updates to it, to the extent as permitted by the Applicable Laws.
